Stephen Fuller is a Saltash artist, living here for over eighteen years. Although known locally as the Bridge Man for his very popular contemporary portrayal of the iconic Royal Albert Bridge designed by I.K. Brunel, he doesn't just paint bridges, his portfolio now includes stunningly vibrant hand marbled papers.
Taking a break from painting, for the past eighteen months Stephen has been restoring antique furniture, everything from reupholstering Edwardian chairs (and even making one from scratch himself) to restoring antique boxes, born from this came the necessity to marble his own papers after unsuccessfully being able to find suitable papers to line boxes and create other pieces of furniture, thus a new cottage industry has been formed!
A selection of the boxes below can be seen every Tuesday inside the Pannier Market (Antiques Day), Tavistock, Devon.
